    Rain Days

The toilets here are fricken DISGUSTING. There’s nothing worse than when you drink a coffee and gotta pinch one out really badly, so you run to the bathroom only to find urine all over the seat, all over the floor as well as ladle water everywhere. Yes ladle. In the Philippines they wash their ass out with ladles instead of using toilet paper. I DO pack my own toilet paper around, I don’t use the ladle.

In other news, it’s been raining like crazy lately. And when it rains it pours. You literally get soaked to the bone if you stand out of cover for more than 5 seconds.

    A Point Form Update

Our maid has mentioned to us a few times that she hears / sees things sometimes when were not home. She gets freaked out and turns on the music to ignore it. Apparently the broker told her it is haunted too. A lady was hung on the 10th floor of our unit on sunday, but foulplay is suspected from her iranian boyfriend. A gas explosion killed and brutally injured a filipino working on the roads last saturday on a bridge close by. I was pick pocked but on the way home but thankfully the bugger didn’t get much. I had maybe $400 in the pocket he managed to open on my bag. Just another day in the philippines.

  • We’ve had 3 recent tremors in the past month, the latest being a 5.0 about 180 kilometers from Manila. Apparently some well known brazilian prophet has predicted a 8.1 magnitude earthquake in the philippines to occur on July 18th, 2008 which will kill thousands of people. Some of his past prophecies were spot on. He predicted Diana dying in a car crash before 2000, as well as the Twin Tower attacks. I’m not to worried though, because he apparently prophecizes daily. If you were to buy 1000 lottery tickets, you’d eventually win at least a little bit. It’s a little unnerving though, seeing as I work in a already shaky 33 story building, and 33 story condo…

    Say Hi To Your Mom

This damn song somehow got lodged into my brain. First time I listened I thought it was alright, but now I got a craving for it. Its northwestern girls by Say Hi To Your Mom. Check more of their stuff on deezer. Some decent music. Vocals are off a little but I kinda like that, gives it a unique sound.

I just bought the M-Audio Axiom 61 keyboard which is pretty friggin dope. I haven’t got to play with it yet but I’m stoked to see what it can do. It’s been almost 2 months since I touched any keys or music so it’ll be refreshing to get back to it. In filipino news, nothing really new to talk about. Still working a lot and drinking on the weekends. Maybe one day i’ll actually get some pictures for ya’ll.

    Some Oldish Music…

Here is some old music which was mostly experimental. If it cuts off or sounds incomplete, that’s because it is. I need to get around to editing / finishing it…

    Thank Heaven For 7-11

The title of this post is really irrelevant, but I do pray every night thanking God for giving chinese people jobs on every corner. Last night was tragic, I went home to work and my Macbook wouldn’t boot… no signal at all. I was pretty pissed because if something was fried it would probably cost a couple grand to fix and take at least a couple weeks to get back. It’s my work computer also, so I would of really been f’d. Turns out I just needed to swap the battery with another mac which reset it, then put it back and blam, it worked!!! Thank heaven…
