WeDontSupportIE.com Launched

We have officially launched We Don’t Support IE! We Don’t Support IE is a site dedicated to helping the world upgrade. We do this by offering a bunch of small buttons that webmasters can put on their websites, or generate a button if you don’t want to use a premade one. Users can also add their site to the “supported” directory for a free backlink. We are hoping this picks up some speed and becomes popular among IE haters. Check it out and grab a button!

    Hi,

Nice project, I hope it will help the design community to realize that there is its responsability to educate users and show them another way.

I chose a more “agressive” solution, with a disclaimer explaining the WHY, instead of just a button (www.binocle.ch)

Very nice site btw, I love your smooth and funny scroll ;-)

      Thanks Binocle :)

I have to finish a few things on this site, but I really hope people realize the importance of what I’m trying to do. Take care

Thx bincole! The project is far from done, still have add a lot of content as to why IE sucks ass and then promote the site a little more to get the ball rollin. Thanks again for the feedback

I love the new site, one question though:

Chrome. I’m guessing that you don’t use the crossover version for mac… do you know anything about when the legit mac version will come out?

    • Jono says:

Thx bro. Apparently chrome is in the state of being ported into mac. I would recommend using parallels or boot camp instead of crossover to run windows apps though. Crossover is a big program and doesn’t support a lot of programs, the other two almost run anything.
